Feeding the community

Giving back to our community is the proven mission of Shirley's Haven, LLC. I greatly appreciate the partnership and volunteerism provided by the organization in making my ward events such as feeding the community, passing out PPEs and other initiatives a huge success.

"We should never turn our backs on our community. Our commitment to our youth is needed now more than ever. These are all “our children” and whenever they have a need, it is our duty to support those parents and supplement that need with love."

Former Fulton County Commissioner

Education

Serving our schools

The enthusiasm, dedication, and ways in which Shirley’s Haven supports education in the Fulton County community can be a model for others with aspirations to serve underserved communities. The school supply giveaway initiative which is conducted in partnership with Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. of Omicron Phi Lambda Chapter has been an outstanding success.

Another successful initiative is the annual new coat giveaway for the Asa G. Hilliard Elementary School and the East Point community. Ensuring provision of adequate nutrition and fighting hunger are also the aims of Shirley’s Haven, because children need to be properly fed to perform well in school. Shirley’s Haven diligently fulfills its four pillars, to feed, clothe, educate, and protect the underserved the community.
