Stephanie Gordon is a native of Tuscaloosa, Alabama where she graduated from Central High School and attended the University of Alabama. She has worked in the Real Estate and Commercial Insurance industries and is presently employed with Brown & Brown Insurance.

She has lived in East Point for 18 years where she had the  pleasure of serving on the East Point Planning & Zoning board for two years during which time she completed training courses with the Atlanta Regional Commission .

In 2015, she was elected to serve as the East Point City Councilmember for Ward D. During her two terms in office, Stephanie supported public safety efforts in East Point through initiatives including Public Safety Symposiums; Gun Buyback events; National Night Out at Camp Creek; Georgia Community Policing Week; annual Book Bag and Toy giveaways.


With the support of her former city council colleagues, she sponsored the All-Terrain Vehicle Ordinance, Human Trafficking Ordinance and a resolution honoring the sacrifices of wounded veterans by designating East Point as a Purple Heart City. She has served on boards with the National League of Cities, received four (4) community service awards from Fulton County Commissioner Marvin Arrington, Jr. and was recognized by the Fulton County School Board as the 2018 Volunteer of the Year for TriCities High School.


With a strong passion for service, Stephanie is committed to advancing bold goals to empower the community. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, traveling and remaining in-the-know about local, national and global politics.
