Billy Briggs
Board Member
Billy is a twenty year IBM sales professional that currently manages IBMs cyber security
practice. He is responsible for generating 42 million dollars of new cyber security business and is a sales coach for all incoming sales professionals.
Billy’s clients include all markets from public sector to the financial services market. He is the chair of the Atlanta Black Network for IBMers and is apart of the diversity and inclusion task
force for IBM where he is heading up a committee to look at creating stronger STEM programs in HBCUs.
Billy also is an extension of the black executive council at IBM where he focuses on recruiting and retaining top minority talent at IBM. He also is an avid Toastmaster and community theater actor.
Billy has been a strong leader in his community. He leads an at-risk youth basketball program that he runs through the church that he has been a member of for over 25 years, Providence Missionary Baptist Church. He serves as a trustee, Sunday school teacher as well as youth advisor.
Billy is married to Chandra Briggs with 3 beautiful children: Jazmine, Billy Ashton and Christian.
